 Nail Technology Program

The object of this program is to educate the student to a degree of competence that will enable them to systematically and professionally perform the required skill of a Nail Technician.

The curriculum for this course is:

Sterilization and Sanitation
Nail Diseases  & Disorders
Manicuring & Pedicuring
Nail Enhancements - Acrylic, Gel, Pink & White's, Silk Wraps

Nail Repairs

Electric Drill Filing
Paraffin Treatments

Certificates are earned upon the completion of the course.  (Course content is outlined above.) You will receive 20 hours of individual training and models are provided for practice as well as demonstrations.  Please bring a pen or pencil, a high lighter, and a three ring binder.  These materials are not included in your tuition.
Courses are held in my home salon in East Haven and at select salon & spa locations.  Cost of this course is $800.00 and must be paid in advance.  Cost of courses offered at select locations will vary per location. Instructional packets for performing services will be provided to each student. Kits are included with you tuition with this course.  Tuition includes your course hours, text book and work book along with a manicuring kit containing your first set of metal implements (nipper, clippers, and cuticle pusher), acrylic and natural nail files/buffers, orange wood stick and repair powder.  (Personal checks are not accepted)  Tuition is non refundable.

This is a fast paced course and very hands on.  Text books and kits are ordered per student upon completing the registration process and courses will begin 2 weeks after registering to allow time for your tools to arrive and scheduling for models and demos.  Additional materials and required hand outs are given to all registered students.
